May we have peace!

Dear One, 

I pray for peace (inner and outer), I pray for love, I pray for kindness, I pray for compassion, I pray for feelings of safety, the ability to feed our families and our community, I pray for safe shelter and warmth... and on it goes....

For the past 50+ years I have said I see myself as a "spiritual" person as opposed to a "religious" person.  For 35 of those years I had difficulty even using the terms "church" "God" and "prayer."  

I am grateful I have greatly broadened my limitations and can use those words freely now.

So today, I tell you:
I pray for peace, I pray for love, I pray for kindness, I pray for compassion, I pray for feelings of safety, the ability to feed our families and our community, I pray for safe shelter and warmth for all... and on it goes....  May it be so 

I have many more things I could say -  though not today.  
Today I close with:  
May all beings be safe
May all beings be happy
May all beings be healthy
May all beings have ease of support
May all beings be free and at peace.
